View Distance Reduced

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2010 9:57 pm

Well now isn't this embarrassing. I seem to have gone and permanently reduced my View Distance. The slider is all the way to the right (100%) yet I can still only see a few hundred metres (sorry people who use feet) in front of me.

The most recent change I made was to install OSR, however I removed that and it didn't revert. It could be that this didn't cause the problem at all, that it's been there a while and I just didn't notice.

I've been trying in vain to troubleshoot this myself for a few hours with no success. So I ask, how do I try and fix this? Thanks in advance.

Yep...I'm actually a little relieved it's not just me! Now if I could just figure out why some NPCs' shirts are magenta (I'm talking CMYK Magenta, ack!) now that I've installed four or five mods that have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with clothing, it'd be grand. :embarrass:

Lol, I'm sure it is! I just have no idea why it would have gone missing when the mods I installed were a map retexture (the Elven map), RAEVWD, a realistic lava mod, Super Hotkeys, and the Map Marker overhaul. -blink-

@The Real Neraverine I noticed you use HrmnsOblivionScriptOptimization. Some people saying it doesn't do much and its not worth using. Because it overwrite vanilla's scripts, if you decide to use it make sure its the first mod to load.
