Post » Tue Jul 17, 2012 3:23 am

I found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkLv0gYH7ho yesterday cept was during the day and I had an assault Carbine (I cant stand making ash piles or goo piles if they despawned id totally love energy weapons)

so since I survive is my character unstoppable also I killed them all only entering vats twice failed to hit anything during vats and had no allies for back up

where are some places I can go to find more hard to kill enemies .-.

Are you still playing on Very Easy? I'd recommend turning up the difficulty. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anywhere that really challenges the player like the places you mentioned. Started OWB yet? The enemies are pretty tough, even if they are just bullet-sponges.

Okay, but are you still playing on Very Easy? I think a bump in difficulty is in order.

EDIT: Have you stumbled across Dead Wind Cavern in your travels?

but i don't want the game to be hard because I have to waste more ammo on creatures I want it to be hard because what ever im fighting can actually hit hard and deathclaws are still fairly tough if want for my auto inject stimpacks id probably of died 7-25 times

It's called "very easy" for a reason I guess... I'm playing on normal first playtrhough and its still very easy..... Turn the difficulty up...

Go find where the legendary deathclaw or legendary cazador lives...

Just bump it up to Easy. It's still a piece of piss and you shouldn't have too much trouble. C'mon, you're playing on the lowest difficult; why do you expect?

I wouldn't worry about ammo consumption. There's plenty of ammo to loot, especially if you've got the Scrounger perk. Or, if you'd prefer, just buy ammo from the Gun Runners - you should have enough caps by now.

How about the Courier's Mile? Enemies there are pretty tough and there are ammo boxes all over the place

Try The Couriers mile. Or you could just make a save and attack somewhere like Camp McCarren, the Strip, Black Mountain, Jacobstown, Hidden Valley bunker etc.

Some big game marks you might want to hunt down:
Legendary Deathclaw, cazador, fire gecko, nightstalker and bloatfly
The giant robo-scorpion
scorpion queen
fire ant queen
lakelurk king
Rawr
Ghost of She

not all of them are a challenge but they are still cool encounters.

There's enough caps in the game that buying ammo is not a problem.

Well if you think your character is unstoppable then try walking through Cazador Valley with just a piece of clothing on you.
Not running, not sprinting, not jogging, walking.

That oughta put some perspective on it.

Wait he's actually playing in Very Easy`?
That difficulty is ridiculously low, why are you even playin on it? Bump it up to Normal or something.
Cause your character is not unstopable, you did not survive through hell, you are playing on MLP-difficulty.
Turn it up to Very Hard, get lots of money, buy lots of ammo and try again.

you could always, oh, i dont know, play the game on normal instead of MLP*? on very easy you could glare in the general direction of a deathclaw and it would explode into a shower of guts n' gore, even on normal you would get mauled by anything stronger than a molerat

*i will never let you live down the horrible links you gave in one of the DM threads, some people actually clicked on those

So it wasn't even skill, anyone can play the game not on hardcoe with Stimpacks as hockey's and a backup of auto-inject Stimpacks, you just don't die. You also play on very easy? Not even sure why you made this thread, like most of your threads.

I'm curious, what?

Haven't worked out if this guys trolling or not to be honest, so many threads asking questions that could be answered by google, thread after thread.

The aspect of enjoying a balanced game versus a challenging one is valid.

Builds can be made that closely resemble 'realism'... lowering endurance is the best one for this - carry weight is limited and a courier cannot take much of a beating (environmental or otherwise), and being on normal or easy difficulty would mean that enemies drop fairly rapidly too.
Also perks taken can upset or create balance.

'Very Easy' has a negative connotation, but it's valid to use in that the enemies will not be bullet-sponges.

It really comes down to the individual, what they want and the decisions they make.
Personally I play on Hard with HCM and keep my couriers HP medium, DT low and bullet DAM high.

*EF, if you are able to clear DCs out with a 5mm assault rifle, you have the balance decidedly in your favour; which might be fun for you but it by no means implies you are 'unstoppable'... and others would not enjoy that, it is too easy for most.

I feel it is all about finding the right balance. If you are happy with Very Easy EF, so be it... you're happy.
