My First Time.

Hey people after all the talk and hearing this 'n that I'm going to purchase Morrowind and give it a go as I feel I'm actually required to to fully understand. I know of all the tools for Oblivion, Skyrim E.G. WB, BOSS Tes4EDIT ECT ECT ECT...But what I don't know is what tools work with Morrowind and what ones I'll be needing. Also I don't know what mods I'll be needing ether, as I heard of some overhaul which improves the visual qualities which was pretty much a must have or something like that.

So basically I'm going to get it in a few days when i get back home so if people could be kind enough to link me to all of what I will be needing (both mods and tools) and just give me a little info on how things work with Morrowind (as I also heard it breaks VERY easy when modded) so all the doo's and don'ts that would be very nice.

Thanks ya :)

The two expansion packs, Tribunal and Bloodmoon, come with the "game of the year edition." If you buy the originals, you get fold-out paper maps, which are nice. There are three official patches, one for each expansion pack and one for morrowind that have to be installed in the proper order. Morrowind, morrowind patch, tribunal, tribunal patch, bloodmoon, bloodmoon patch. then, you can get the free downloadable bonus official plug-ins from bethesda. It should all be right here on this website in the Morrowind section.

There are the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Official_Plug-ins, but I recommend the fixed version on PES, less bugs this way: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=9133

The two expansions were never DLC. Only retail purchases.

If you have GoTY version, then you do not need any official patches.
And if you have Tribunal and Bloodmoon, but it's not the GoTY version, then you just need the Bloodmoon patch installed last.
