Crash course in Nordic culture?

I'd simply like to double-check that I'm understanding a typical Nord correctly.

Anyone mind naming, for example:

-Gods typically worshipped by Nords (if any)
-Gods typically feared by Nords (if any)
-Cultural attitudes, i.e. typical personality types, interests, fears, hates (if any)
-Racism: how they treat other races; who do they hate in particular, who do they like in particular (if anyone)
-Magic. Skyrim they hate it, Oblivion they showed interest in restoration, Morrowind they're indifferent. Overall?

Think I've got a decent understanding, just double-checking. Gods like Shor, Kyne, Mara and Talos seem to hold importance, Alduin and Hermaus Mora are ones not particularly loved, Nords seem to think more with their hearts rather than their minds (rash decisions over thought-out ones), used to hate the Dark Elves but to their credit allowed them to settle in Skyrim in their hour of need, but still aren't fond of elves, and magic used to not be a taboo with restoration being of particular importance.

Sound about right? Anything I'm missing?

-Gods typically worshipped by Nords (if any)

Mara, Dibella, Stuhn (Stendarr), Orkey (Arkay) [Also feared], Shor (Sorta Lorkhan but not really), Morihaus [demigod], Talos, Kyne (Kynareth), Tsun (Zenithar),

-Gods typically feared by Nords (if any)

Mehrunes Dagon, Alduin, Herma Mora, Elven gods and Daedra in general

-Cultural attitudes, i.e. typical personality types, interests, fears, hates (if any)

They're humans. There's a stereotype about the liquor and war loving Nords, but you'll find they're not so different from any human culture over all. Distrustful of Elves and magic - kind of rustic and straight forward, but overall just humans.

-Racism: how they treat other races; who do they hate in particular, who do they like in particular (if anyone)

They get along well enough with Orcs, Imperials, Bretons and Redguards. They don't care much for Elves or Beast Races of any type.

-Magic. Skyrim they hate it, Oblivion they showed interest in restoration, Morrowind they're indifferent. Overall?

I doubt any Nord would turn down an enchanted weapon or a restoration spell on the battlefield. They also revere divine magic such as the Thu'um.

I'd say overall they mistrust magic but have a history of magic use, and their hatred of magic doesn't stop them from accepting magical help.

Nords were relatively indiferent to magic before the Oblivion Crisis. Magi were viewed as "Clever Men", and were treated with respect and fear. Many Jarls were magi as well in the past.

The "magic is for [FEMALEGENETALIA] and elves who are the former" is a 4th Era cultural norm. Before then, the only race that really hate magic were the Redguards.
