I have a quest that requires me to get Cass at the Mojave outpost to follow me but she wont budge complaining about her license.. She said to go the Crimson Caravan and talk to them about work.. I went there and talked to the old lady Alice Mclafferty and she has no work for me, and i cant do anything.. I have 2 quests that i cant progress in now...

Any idea's ?

Are you sure she has no work?

It may be dependent on character level, but when I got there she gave me a little courier quest that took off from there.

You may also need the quest line from Cass herself.
