hey, i read that i can get Caesar's Legion to crucify Benny. How exactly do I trigger this? I want to crucify him but i also want his gun early in the game.

i don't want to side with Caesar's Legion until later in the game, so I don't get alienated to the NCR,

You have to survive his ambush at the Tops, then he'll try and infiltrate Caesars camp, and get captured. Do a quick quest for Caesar, then you can choose how he dies. Not sure if you get Maria for crucifying him, but you might. You won't align to Caesars legion for doing the quest. You don't ever really "align" unless you do a quest for him that directly affects the NCR (like attacking them which decreases their rep), so you won't have to worry about that.

thanks mate. but what ambush? when i found him in the Tops, I got him to go upstairs with me alone and then he'd tell me all about everything and his plan and ask me to join him? i did kill him, but i went back to a save before that when i heard i could crucify him. also, are you talking about a specific quick quest? where should i go to get a suitable one?

You'll talk to him and then you can take the speech paths where you'll work together, but then he'll leave and send up his bodyguards to wipe you out. Then he'll be at Caesars camp.

And then I just go all the way to his camp. But do I still get to crucify him regardless of my reputation with Caesar's Legion? (neutral?) and where do I get that quest you talked about so I can crucify him?

Yeah, rep with Caesars legion doesn't matter. As soon as Benny leaves, and you go outside Vulpes should be waiting, and will tell you Caesar wants to meet with you. Then you head to his camp, do the Caesar a quick favor, then you decided Benny's fate.

I opted to go for one on one Combat. More satisfying that way.
