i just got fallout 3 game of the year edition on my windows 7 pc and when i try to start a new game, during the "Gene Project" window where i am creating my character- there is no text in the window to the right where i am actually choosing all my features- i can still edit i just cant see what the names are and i cannot continue onward.
also i tried a new game of new vegas and the exact same thing happened at the beginning and new vegas worked on my old computer.

Post a dxdiag.
XP: Go to Start->run, type “dxdiag” and hit enter. Click the Save All Information button near the bottom right. This will save a Dxdiag.txt in C:\ by default. Then open the dxdiag.txt and copy/paste the information into your post.
