I just started playing Fallout 3 a couple of months ago, and as I continue to play, I'm finding mods are absolutely essential to my enjoying the game throroughly. I like realism....mostly. I play a green world mod, which does wonders for my gameplay experince, but I was wondering if there's a fauna companion to the flora mod I love so very, very much. I don't want to get rid of the mutated critters per se, but I'd like a mod that adds real world animals that would be appropriate to the clime of the DC area: chickens, goats, horses, deer, maybe elk, real cows (the one headed variety), wolves and maybe some exortic zoo escapees that could survive there, like camels and elephants. The one thing I want changed is the Yoa Gui. Not that I want them gone, but rather retextured to look like black bears.
The reason I'm here is that I've seen enough Skyrim videos to know that most of these cirtters exist in the Elder Scrolls series. While Skyrim obviously uses a different engine than Fallout 3, Oblivion is done of the same Gamebryo system. So....has anyone thought to do a texture port or anything of the like? Seeing real world fuana alongside deathclaws and Mirelurks would make me squee with joy, and that's why I'm asking about it now. So, what's the word?
