» Sat Jul 21, 2012 2:29 am I've just purchased Fallout 3, Game of the Year Edition, from Steam a couple days ago, and I've encountered a problem with the save function.
When playing the game, the save feature works properly, and I can load saves normally as well, and the saves still exist if I exit to the main menu. However, if I quit the game, the saves disappear entirely when re-opened. There are no saves and "New Game" is my only option. In the folder for the game (NAME-MyDocuments-MyGames-Fallout3) there is no save folder, even when in game and saving! The only thing in the folder is "FalloutPrefs". The game installed fine, and there are no problems with it in any other regard. I have tried re-installing, but to no avail.
I do not know what to do! Any help would be fantastic.
