All hypothetical of course...

So, fallout 30 is going to be released in 2040..... What future development in a fallout game would you like to see?

Speculate on some future ideas you would like to see, beyond the scope of fallout 4.. Thought this might be a cool thread.



1. Most importantly I think is virtual reality, a headset... or something. -- Whatever comes after a controller and a monitor, will be a huge lead forward for gaming.... Although it already kind of exists, its nowhere near being mainstream yet.


2. Smell the environments! - An added perk. This could be cool or disgusting... I imagine most environments would stink!!

3. Non-linear communication (intelligent NPC'S). - How cool would it be to be able to ask your own questions to NPC's? Take over a town or city, become hated and obeyed like ceasar in NV.

4. More interaction with environment - , cook something based on real world knowledge... Decorate home. Lets find a (simplified) manual on how to make a bike or car, get all the parts and put it together for travel.. Build your own home.

5. Much larger enviornment. - I guess this comes without saying tho!



I'm not very imaginative, cant think of much else.. Like to see what you guys come up with. I hope I get to see these things before I die!

At the rate FO4 is taking...we wont be anywhere near 30 in 2049

Quite frankly, the thread itself is pointless.

The topic is pretty pointless, to the point where I have a hard time believing it isn't just Spam.

There is already a Fallout 4 speculation topic. For there to be a Fallout 30 topic there should be a Fallout 4 through 29 first.

If you want to speculate on what the wasteland might be like far in the future, there is already an on going topic about that.

Yes it is, we should speculate on Fallout 4. Not Fallout 30.....which more than likely will never even be made.

I'd be surprised if they got to 6 or 7.
