Best Method to Display FPS Fallout 3?

Just wondering how to display FPS on fallout 3, i've looked up console commands but haven't found any yet, so any suggestions that won't hinder gameplay? I've been reading fraps doesn't work well with fallout..

MSI Afterburner is pretty good.
