More attributes is really the only one. I miss attributes, and all the numbers, and how those numbers affected my character's existence. Actually, if I could combine Oblivion's attributes with Skyrim's Perks, I'd be in heaven.

I've never played Fallout, but from that series I want a hardcoe mode! Not necessarily Fallout's exact HC mode, but a modified version of it. Thirst won't make much of a difference in the colds of Skyrim, for instance, with all that snow and rivers to drink from. But hunger and sleep deprivation definitely should.

I would pay actual money to get either of these as DLC. Thank you.

I've played both games quite a bit. But I don't really see a significant improvement in archery. What I'm I missing? What are you referring to specifically? Thanks.

I'd like to see smithing and maybe some of the more random quests in Oblivion.

Of course mods can add alot of missing stuff to Oblivion.

In general though I think there is more from Oblivion I'd like to see in Skyrim, rather than the other way around.

I think the question is what would you like to see in Oblivion from Skyrim.

what i say is that the archery in skyrim its much more easier to kill even when you have low skill in archery you only take 3 shots in sneak to kill a bandit but a deer in oblivion needs 5 shots

What do you mean - 3rd person? There is 3rd person in Oblivion, even the annoying autoswitching to 3rd person when paralized or out of fatigue - the predecessors(sp?) of Skyrim's killcams - the main reason to keep me from playing Skyrim.

So I realized I had a dyslexic moment...thought the OP was going from Oblivon to Skyrim. Oops, it's the other way around!

More wildlife that isn't going bezerk trying to attack the PC...that's what I would want. Skyrim has bunnies. Goats, deer, elk, walruses, etc. Cyrodiil only has deer. Skyrim's wilderness is therefore a bit more authentic.

Also, Skyrim's enemies which do attack (wolves, tigers, etc.) can sometimes abandon their attack if the PC gets too far away. That's one of the things that irks me about Oblivion: if you get attacked by a wolf, yet don't want to bother attacking back, that wolf is now going to follow you FOREVER. It will never tire. Never give up its pursuit.

From far back in the crowd ...boo! ... boo!
