So during the Steam sale one of my friends got Crysis 2, and we played a bit of multiplayer. First time since I beat the game back in March, and I hadn't played more then a couple days. Anyway, I was getting my ass handed to me, but having a lot of fun, and getting used to the game again, and my K/D ratio was finally starting to get to 1 (yeah, that's how bad I am).

I played two days in a row, then yesterday I couldn't log in. Now today. Over 24 hours and the game just says "Check your network connection". Is the main server down for some reason? I couldn't find a way to check. I did see they have game replays on this site and they were being updated, but I assume that was people playing on Xbox 360 or PS3.

Is there a way to check server status? Am I the only one who can't log on? I am at a location with Firewalled internet access but it's always worked before, and I tried tethering internet off my phone to make sure access to the game hadn't been blocked suddenly.

Details: I played the multiplayer demo briefly, before Crysis 2 was released, and liked it. I pre-ordered the game through Steam, but I wasn't getting into the SP and didn't get too far, and stopped playing. Sold my gaming desktop, and then about a year later I get a gaming laptop (couldn't stand not being able to play PC games). In February or March I tried the SP again, got into it and loved it, then tried MP for a few days, and as I said before just started MP again.

As I pre-ordered through Steam I have the regular version, not the Maximum Edition they got when Crysis 2 returned after disappearing for awhile.
