TAMRIEL, political map, 4E 200

Post » Mon Jul 23, 2012 2:44 pm

After having seen many inaccurate maps I decided to read all the details found in Skyrim (and lore) and draw an accurately political map of Tamriel during the fourth era, 200.

This map is "lore approved" as far as possible with all the information found. Enjoy, for all the lore fans.

Did you create that map yourself or use a blank map and fill it in?

edit: I only ask because I have a thing for maps if there was a blank copy of that I could make great use out of it! good job!

That is awesome. But I thought that the two Elesweyr provinces had joined the Aldmeri Dominion? I know that at the very least they are sattelite states.

They are client states, but still technically 'independent' Kingdoms.

Mostly myself, In particular Skyrim.

I haven't found a satisfactory blank map of Tamriel.

This is my "mute" map of Tamriel http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/6397/immagine10copiav.png

I read/heard somewhere in Skyrim that Leyawiin and/or Bravil (not sure which one, maybe both) were conquered by the Thalmor in the Great war, so they may be part of the Dominion now, not sure though.

I figured that the AD would withdraw from Cyrodiil after the WGC was signed. (The only benefit The Empire had..)

The Thalmor were pushed out of Cyrodiil and back into Valenwood/Elsweyr after the counter assault that wiped out the Thalmor field army. No part of the Imperial Provience was actually annexed into the Aldmeri Dominion.

Oh, right I forgot about the counter attack, just ignore what I said earlier.

I never knew that the river in Cyrodiil was that big. Where is Elsweyr?

Elsweyr was disolved and the Kingdoms of Pellitine and Anaquena were restored as Thalmor client states.
