Harkness=Huck Finn easter egg?

Okay, I noticed this a long time ago and it's been bugging the crap out of me because I can't find anything on it anywhere on the Internet. I hope I'm not being an idiot by posting about this and everyone already knows this but, for my own sake, I gotta do it.

In Mark Twain's famous novel Huckleberry Finn there is a scene where a mob is gathered to kill a person named Colonel Sherbern for killing the town drunk, Boggs. The mob is quickly stobbed by Sherbern who simply walks out of his home and calmy reprimands them for their boorish behavior. Now the main thing I want to bring up is that the leader of the mob is named Buck Harkness. That's not the important part, the important part is that during Colonel Sherbern's speech calls Buck Harkness "half a man".

After reading this, I quickly thought of Harkness from Rivet City and his quest "A Replicated Man". Harkness Is revealed to be a sythetic man (an AI). See the connection? Buck Harkness is called half a man and Harkness from Rivet City (literally) is half a man.

Here's my question: Has ANYONE noticed this? Please, let me feel stupid if you all have. I just need some validation because this isn't anywhere online.

If you didn't know: Pretty cool, huh! Books! Yay!

Its defintely an interesting theory, but I'm not terribly convinced that Bethesda was actually referencing Buck Harkness and its not just a neat coincidence.

"Half of a man" also doesn't really equate to "Synthetic human." Harkness isn't a human, period. There is no "half" about it. At least thats how I view it.
