hello, i just pick up fallout 3 for the PC. my system is: asus CG5275 tower, windows 7 64 bit, i5 Intel processor, 8 GB ram, and the GS250 Intel graphics card.

the game runs and starts up great! for the first couple minutes of game play the game doesn't have any issues. i have noticed that it will freeze all the time, for no real reason. I could be doing anything and the game will stop working.

I have tried just about everything i can think of, from updating my graphics card drivers, downloading patches, using programs to "maximized windows" which allows you to run at a set resolution.

I thought it might be been my bios or the graphics card i have just isn't compatible with the game?

has anyone run into the game just stop working? my system can run it on even the ultra settings, but the settings doesn't change the out come. it still crashes "stop working"

NOTE: it's not a one point it happens anywhere, anytime during game play..

Right. Nothing that Intel has ever done with graphics has ever been game-worthy. Only AMD or nVIDIA have the game-playing graphics smarts going for them.

I guess i should also note, i have never ran into a game that i couldn't play on this system. it plays just stops for no reason.

when it does run it runs great

Have you modified the ini to correct issues with multicore CPUs. This should minimize the issue which happens more frequently on Vista/7.
