I never did the Corruption and Conscience quest. So Ulrich gets sent to Bruma for Allies for Bruma. During the battle while waiting for the great gate to open I get a pop-up that I killed him. It was an accident, but since I didn't get a bounty I kept going.

Later I go to Cheydinhal and talk to Garrus (who is mad at me for "murdering him" and Llevana (who is mad at me because she wanted to kill him with rats). I look for Aldos but can't find him anywhere. The quest is ended, and there is no guard in front of his house. I figured he would be happy to get his house back and wanted to see what would happen.

What happened to Aldos? Does the game just remove him?
