Wow really. Well you'd feel sick, you'd be sick, you'd get headaches, your hair would fall out, your gums would bleed, you'd become increasing weak and ache all-over and you'd ultimately die rather ignobly in the near vicinity of your own vomit and excrement.

Luckily it's just a game. A game where you only get a few rad points for drinking on eating irradiated food/water. :D

Indeed.

On an off-topic note you have Wolfwood as your avatar without the cross?

Where the avatar box is so small it looked odd with the ones I tried, and Punisher is only to be shown off only if its bad assness is perfectly displayed.

Actually I listened to a RadioLab podcast just this morning about a man who survived two A-bomb blasts during WW2. He lived to be about 90, but anyway he did describe feeling nauseated and just generally fatigued but he managed to travel from Hiroshima to another town in the same day. Unfortunately he was in the blast radius in both cities. He described how his arms were burned and he had strange sensations in them and his skin looked like fresh pink meat. The podcast was about how radiation in the body could affect offspring because radiation causes cells to attack DNA strands. An interesting listen and a great show if you're into science type stuff and they present it in ways for those who may have a low intelligence S.P.E.C.I.A.L (like myself =p).
Not exactly on topic as to the game but... there ya go! =)

Besides what's already been stated; I don't think radiation has a taste, persay. Would probably be along the lines of food poisoining, meaning you won't know you have it until you've eaten the product and some time has gone by.

There's a type of cherry that has trace amounts of radiation, as well as plates and cups made of certain material. You'd never know it without a Geiger counter though.
Also IIRC, humans are actually far more tolerant to radiation than as portrayed in Fallout (or was it the other way?). I think I remember reading somewhere that 1000 rads would be where someone begins to feel sick, nowhere near where it'd be a fatal dose.

There is different types of radiation.

OP, you tell us...

Can you taste the radiation in your milk/water?

Can you smell it in your air?

Do you feel it on your skin or inside your body?

Our planet is polluted with the worst kind of radiation (plutonium mox), friends and we are completely [censored]!

I heard its the other way, I heard by the time you reach 600 rads, you're puking your guts out and writhing in pain. I could be wrong seeing as I read that on the net.
