I assure you your engineers will be under total protection of the Brotherhood while in our territory, if that is of any concern. Besides, most of the work will be done around our head quarters in Offutt, so they wont exactly be in a hot zone." Alan said with a laugh.

Alan's eyes widened when Kilroy asked Traven to meet with him in private.

"Would you like me to accompany High Inquisitor?" Alan asked. He knew the Midwest had it's own things to attend to, but regardless the two were one after all, so he felt the need to ask anyway.

Then Kilroy approached Alan.


Alan was a little shocked at the man's proposal. He looked the man dead in the eye and spoke.

"I... well yes, we may be able to make arrangements for such a trip. To develop new technology is not as much a farfetched idea to me as you may think. While it is true we do preserve the past, the Brotherhood is more into preserving ALL tech, be it past or present. I would be willing to listen to an offer you may have, but seeing as I have a new alliance with the U.S, I must insist you.. calm down a bit. Regardless, as we have not met before, I believe formalities are in order. In that case..." Alan said as he stood up and offered his hand for a handshake to Mr. Kilroy," My name is Alan Burns, Head Paladin for the Brotherhood of Steel. Pleased to make you acquaintance."

Andrew began walking out but he loved being the center of attention. Andrew walked to the center of the convention and said, "THANK YOU ALL FOR HEARING ME OUT TODAY! IF YOU HAVE ANYMORE QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE NEW ENGLAND COMMONWEALTH THEY CAN TALK TO ME IN MY OFFICE ON SKYCLIMBER ONE! THOSE WHO WERE PROMISED A TRIP TO THE COMMONWEALTH CAN MEET ME BEFORE I LEAVE AT 10 AM TOMORROW!"

Andrew was sitting in his office when he saw his private terminal was blinking of an unread message. He opened the message from Tom Higgs and saw that the prototype was a success. Tom also told Andrew about the his plans for a defense field for the Commonwealth. I responded to him and told him not to work on the prototype weapon tomorrow because we would have visitors.

Orion was extremely angry, how dare these Profligates lie to his face, in the middle of his palace, in the middle of a military city, in the middle of his militant nation. Orion spoke levelly.

"Agent this is your last warning, either you and your guard friends leave, you, your gaurd friends, and the President leaves, or you all get crucified in the town square, your choice. I am asking kindly."

As Orion said this a dozen Praetorians closed in on the group, ready to do Caesar's bidding.

OOC: Wait did I miss something? When did Traven leave? Due to Traven's and Alan's alliance, I'm sure Alan would be interested in anything Kilroy would have to say.

Alan smiled at Traven's response of going to the Commonwealth with him. It was good to have such a close ally for a trip to a strange land.

"Very well. I believe that would be best." Alan said as he nodded at Traven.

Alan laughed when he saw Kilroy's visible surprise at his handshake.

" Ha, as you can see we aren't savages Mr. Kilroy. And I think I speak for everyone here at the convention when I say this. Most of us are quite advanced actually. In fact, many of the factions here have been developing very potent weapons. For example, Caesar has developed a weapon known as Apollo, and while I have not seen it in action myself, I have been assured it is very potent, which is further supported by the reports my scouts have given me." Alan said with a bright smile.

Alan turned to Caesar at that moment, a look of curiosity on his face.

"Ah, speaking of the Apollo, I was wondering if we could speed up that little test we arranged earlier? As apparently Traven and myself are taking a trip to the Commonwealth after this convention, I would like to insure I have ample time to observe a weapon with such a great report as the Apollo weapons system."

Andrew sat and thought about how powerful of an ally Caesar would make so he sent him a message. It said, "Mighty Caesar I believe you will make a powerful ally and I want to tell you something that very few know. I am working on a weapon of mass destruction that very few people know of. I am telling you this because from meeting you I believe I can trust you. I will send an escort to pick you up so you can see it in about a month when we have it more perfected.
P.S. I will send my ambassador along with the androids in a week. Your legion will be stronger than ever."
