Fallout's Newbie

Never tried this game. Neither touch it.
I'm so far an Elder Scroll series fan.
But I'm thinking to get Fallout : New Vegas. And going to ask this to fallout's fans :
1. If I get it, I won't dissapointed yes? I mean.. I'm afraid get a wrong game.. Don't get me wrong
2. About specs. Is New Vegas specs bigger than Skyrim? I mean.. I can run Skyrim in my laptop, but with a bit lag in combat. So, will New Vegas running in my laptop?
3. And if I can get it, will you give me little hints or advices? I really don't know Fallout system, so little tips would be great!
Thank you in advance! :D

1: You will not know till you get it.

2: If you can play Skyrim than you can play New Vegas.

3: Yeah if you ask questions, you will get advice.

Some advice right now. New Vegas has a reputation system so your actions matter, NPC will remember them and they can have a big impact on the factions. There is no level scaling, so you will run into enemies greater than you ability to kill. So when you start New Vegas, go South not North.

Ah it's glad to hear that :)
Yes I've heard reputation system, that was actually attracted me to this game.
Thank you so much :D

If you are expecting TES with guns, a different setting and a different leveling system then you may well be disappointed.
Bethesda's games are primarily sandboxes with a focus on exploration. Fallout NV is still sandoxish and plenty fun to explore but the shining star of NV is the complex, thought provoking plot littered with morally grey choices at every turn.

Haha yeah of course I'm not expecting that.
I can't wait to play it soon! ;)

NV is dialog heavy, has no morally perfect way to go, has fewer locations to explore (but they are all much better made, they all actually have stories) and is not super easy. it is much bettter than skyrim

*this is an opinion yet is elated above fact and should be wolrdly recognized as a truth

**that is also an opinion

FNV is the World Record holder for most in-game dialogue!

1: You will not be disappointed (unless you don't enjoy games with challenge)
2: It is last-gen, so it will more than likely work better than Skyrim, but mods may slow it down...
3:
Don't go north, hang south and around the mountian.
Meditate on your character build in every way possible, you won't regret it.
Avoid doing quests for the major factions until you're done with Benny.
Consider Survival even if you're not going to play hardcoe.
Barter is very useful despite it's limited use, it has a couple of perks that comes with it too.
