Fallout: RobCo

In the dark, dank Vault 45, an experimental Vault with the purpose of having no overseer, a radiation leak has been detected. The residents of Vault 45 have stumbled outside in a panic, to be met with an inhospitable wasteland. The valley stretched far, and it was wide, the rocks were barren and the land was scorched. The trees were burnt and shriveled, only one thing stood out in the desolate Wasteland. The Factory.

A RobCo factory stood in the valley, windows boarded shut and makeshift wooden repairs done on the buildings exterior. As the residents of Vault 45 approached the factory, traders and hunters joined their party, looking for safety in numbers. The factory was owned and operated by one ghoul, "Rob" Nobody had entered the RobCo factory for decades, except "Rob" and his robotic minions. Together they had fought off countless invaders, slavers, raiders, the occasional feral ghoul. But none in numbers such as this, so, after much thought, he let them in.

And thus, the settlement of RobCo formed.

Name: Rob/Earl Cotton (Uses name Rob, nobody but him and his favourite Robot, know this real name. He calls himself Rob because of the name RobCo)
Race: Ghoul
Gender: Male
Age: 95 years old (appears only 30)
Appearance: Ghoulish (forgive the pun)
Height: 5’6”
Personality: Reclusive, and harsh.

Morals: Neutral, “does what has to be done”
Ambitions: Destroying the Enclave and/or becoming human again.

Skills: Very good at engineering, decent at using a rifle.
Weapons: Hunting Rifle with a kitchen knife attached like a bayonet.
Armour/Clothing: Old RobCo jumpsuit.
Misc: Repair and Engineering equipment.

Backstory:
Earl was in the facility, tinkering with his robot charge, the robot D-19, or as Earl called him, Sparks, because of his tendency to let out sparks whenever he is processing too much information. When the bombs fell, Earl was too slow to reach the shelter, and although the bombs exploded way off, the radiation wiped out all of the others in the factory, except for him, and a few protectrons, including Sparks.
Earl kept all his protectrons up and running, and together they faced all kinds of threats from raiders, super mutants and the animals of the wasteland. He became very competent with his weapon of choice, a hunting rifle scavenged from a fallen raider. He equipped it with a “bayonet” of sorts, and when the Vault opened, Earl had no choice but to let them in, but he didn’t want to get too personal, so he kept his office far away from the others and spent most of his time with Sparks and the other protectrons that needed maintenance, he installed a failsafe in his terminal, if ever he needed to repel a major attack. Or a coup.

Walter Wright - OldRPG'sAreGood's Character

Name: Walter Wright
Race: Human, Caucasian
Gender: Male
Age: 38
Appearance: Muscular, a bit of tan, rough stubble in his face, brown, dirty hair long enough to reach his neck.
Height: 1,86 meters
Personality: Distant, cold

Morals: Neutral, doesn't think about it anymore
Ambitions: To find a new meaning for his life

Skills: Swings various melee weapons with ease, also a decent marksman with his sawed off shotgun
Weapons: Axe, cleaver, a sawed off shotgun
Armour/Clothing: Stained pre-war shirt which sleeves Walter rolls up. Brown cargo pants and ragged boots.
Misc: Necklace made out of fingerbones

Backstory:
Walter was born into the Wright family in New Reno and had a good childhood with enough food and water. Everything went well until Walter fell in love with one of the prosttutes working for his fathaer, in the age of 20. Walter fled New Reno with his love, and they settled down in one abandoned farm miles away from New Reno. In the following 15 years, they farmed, traded and got a son. Walter was happy in his life all the way until his sons 3rd birthday. It was then when raiders attacked their farm, first herding the small family inside, taking Walters wife into another room where the raiders [censored] her.

Walters son they took outside, and Walter bolted after the ones who took his son. During this action Walter took a bullet to his left shoulder which is still there. He got outside just in time to see his son shot. Walter went into a rage from this, grabbing an axe from a nearby log, and killed the raider who shot his son. After that he proceeded to kill off the rest of the raiders, who were all scattered around the farm. When he reached the room his wife was being held, he only found her corpse. When the raiders were killed, Walter hacked of their fingers with a cleaver he got from his kitchen. From the severed fingers Walter peeled of the flesh and made a necklace from the bones, to remind him that the raiders would always be at his throat, tormenting him with the murders of his wife and son.

After that Walter retrieved his sawed off shotgun from a hiding place in his bedroom, and wandered to the wastes. It wasn't long until he saw some vault dwellers heading to some factory, and decided to follow. And to find something new to do with his life. He introduced himself as a butcher, and gained entrance to the factory.

Cheery Slaughter - himynameislonewanderer's Character.

Race:Caucasian
Gender:Female
Age:24
Appearance: very curvy, long light blonde hair, has one hazel eye, one blue eye. Is very light skinned due to living in vault 77.
Height:5’4
Personality: sarcastic but funny, very gullible, overall really nice

Morals:very good karma, willing to help people in need
Ambitions: to start a new life outside the vault, learn to survive

Skills:Medicine, speech (very good at persuasion, talking her way out of things), and some science
Weapons: knife in her boot, police baton on her hip
Armour/Clothing: ragged vault 45 jumpsuit

Backstory: Cherry lived a cozy life in Vault 45 with her family. She passed her GOAT when she was 16 and was declared to be the future vault physician. She was one out of two who went through training under the primary doctor’s wing. He died from advanced radiation poisoning after suspected radiation leaks, and the vault was forced to evacuate to the seemingly operational RobCo facility.


Ezekial Billman - TheKeshik's Character

Age: 19
Appearance: Zeke has medium length, dirty blonde hair, wide set green eyes, a square shaped jaw and high cheeck bones. Zeke has a very skinny build and is not very muscular or strong. This reduced weight however makes Zeke very quick on his feet. He has no tattoos or scars so far.
Height: 6'2
Personality: Zeke is a friendly enough person and respects people and they're feelings. Zeke however would much rather talk tonhis dog than any person, because he believes humanity as a whole is evil and hopelessly lost. Zeke does not like to talk about his past and will usually deflect any questions about it. Zeke is a non-violent but will gladly stand up for his dog, Ashes.
Morals:Neutral (Zeke dosnt care about those things)
Ambitions: Survival, and protecting Ashes, his dog.
Profesion: Hunter/Scavenger
Skills: Zeke is a great archer, tracker, and scavenger, he can also be quite stealthy when he wants to. Zeke however isn't very strong and is seriously lacking in unarmed and melee combat. Zeke also is a pretty good violin player.
Weapons: Compound bow w/ a number of scavenged and crafted arrows, long dirk, Ashes (mutated Russian wolf hound), anything else he finds while scavenging.
Clothing/Armor: Grey short sleeven T-shirt, und a tanned Brahmin skin buttoned jacket, and dark hey jeans.
Bio/history: When Ezkiel was young he lived in a ranch in northernCalifornia, he had two sisters, a mother and a father. All of this changed when Zeke was 11 years old and his shack was attacked by what he thought to be raiders. When they entered the shack they yelled at his father, saying something about the ranch and how it was legally theirs. His father, who was a very stubborn man, resisted the "raiders" and told them to "piss off". One of the intruders who was obviously drunk shot his father seven times in the stomach and laughed the most evil laugh Zeke had ever heard. During all of this Zek was watching from undernath the floor boards with his 4 year old sister while his mother and other sister where above, beside his father. His mother, who was always strong in both heart and arm pulled a switchblade on the intruder and stabbed him atleast thirty times in the face before she, and his sister her gunned downed, all by the same kind of rifle. This is when Zeke caught a real look at one of the raiders, it was NCR soldiers who had been sent to take their land, though things had obviouly gotten out of hand. His 4 year old sister, Elizabeth, also saw he mother sister and father get gunned down and erupted in tears. The soldiers, frighted shoth through the floor boards and hit Elizabeth once or twice, stopping her screams. Zeke then did something horrible, he abandoned his family and home and slid through a small hole in the foundation. Zeke then ran, and ran, and ran for four days with no food and a little watter he had found in a small irradiated puddle. He was dying. To make things worse a pack of savage, mutated dogs here shadowing him, feeling his weakness. That night the dogs surrounded him and the largest one stepped forward. He was almost as tall as the elven year old boy, mutated slightly by radiation. When they're eyes met however an understanding passed between them, Zeke needed a comPanion and the dog needed a master. So the dog separated from the pack and became his gaurdian. Zeke named the dog Ashes and hunted, scavenged and traveled with the dog until they saw a pack of vault dwellers. These vaultlings looked lost and in need of guidance like Zeke on that horrible night so he joined them, eventually coming accross RobCo.

Luther Weller - Dyanmites Character.

Race: African American
Gender:Male
Age:26
Appearance:Tall, Menacing, various scars and burns running from the left side of his body from head to toe, Thick, Mangled, unkept hair, wears a tattered Vault 77 suit.
Height: 7'3
Personality: Very Distant and sheltered, Outcast with revenge and hate in his heart

Morals: Very Negative Karma,
Ambitions: To find out who caused the scars and burns on his face and body, and to let go of the monster within, also find out who or what killed his father

Skills: Extremely Strong, Quite agile for a man his size, willing to fight his way out of tough situations.
Weapons: 10" bowie knife built to cut through almost anything, damaged 9mm pistol found while scavenging but has no rounds.
Armour/Clothing: tattered Vault 45 jumpsuit
Misc: Non functioning Pip boy, 2 buffout pills and an empty jet canister

Backstory: Luther lived deep inside the confined walls of Vault 45. He was the outcast of the vault, the children never wanted to play with him, and called him a freak. At the age of 16, Luther stood at 6'9", towering over the vault dwellers. His G.O.A.T. results were to be the Vault's garbageman, but the Overseer also used him as a hitman. Luther never actually killed anybody, just broke a few bones and gave a savage beating to those who conspired against the Overseer. The day after his 17th birthday, Luther discovered his father dead in the bathroom. The Doctor ruled it an overdose but Luther knew someone was trying to cover it up. He found bruises upon his fathers lifeless body and welts upon the back of his head, also the doctor never filled out a full autopsy report. ONe day Luther was knocked unconcious after snooping around the medical area for clues of his fathers death. He awoke four days later covered in bandages. Someone found him in the lowest area of the vault very badly burned and half of his body covered in third degree burns, his body as still smoldering when a vault dweller discovered that he still had a pulse. It was ruled as attempted murder but the Overseer never bothered to find the suspect. After an attempt to kill the Overseer, he was ruled a menace to Vault 77 and confined to a room with a bed, a toilet and a sink for 9 years. At the age of 26, Luther was left to die in Vault 45 as the others evacuated. Luther managed to find a way out and moved swiftly as the Vault had increasing levels of radiation. He soon found other vault dwellers travelling to Robco facility, he followed far behind, trying not to alert anyone.

William Lucas Knight - UrielSeptimVII's character

Name: William Lucas Knight (he goes by Knight)
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance: He has a very large upper body, possessing wide shoulders, and the thick, strong arms you’d expect from someone who works with their hands. His skin is very pale to start the RP since he comes from the vault, but he will gain a bronze hue later on from being exposed to sunlight. His hair is dark brown and half an inch long. He has sideburns that end at the bottoms of his ears, and light stubble most of the time. His eyes are an icy blue, and he has a small horizontal scar beneath his left eye. He has a slight cleft chin and both ears are pierced with black studs in them.
Height: 6’2”
Personality: He is bold and can act dangerously. While it may seem like he has a very short attention span, when he gets to work he tunes out everything else.

Morals: He doesn’t really have a specific set of morals, but he’s a generally honest guy, and tries to do what he can to help when he needs to.
Ambitions: To repair a motorcycle into working condition.

Skills: He is a mechanic, and so he has learned to work with electronics, and can repair weaponry as well. His father was part of vault security, so he was also taught to handle a firearm fairly well, and due to his upper body strength he is well-suited to melee.
Weapons: A .32 caliber revolver is tucked into the front of his pants.

A .45 Auto Pistol with a heavy duty slide and a detachable silencer is holstered on his right hip. It belonged to his late father, and out of respect it is kept in an almost perfect condition, and is rarely used.

A bolo machete with a red hardwood handle which is sheathed on his back, hanging off of his backpack.

A switchblade is hidden in his right boot.
Armour/Clothing: He wears a vault 45 jumpsuit, but the upper half of the jumpsuit is pulled down and hangs over the belt. He has black leather steel toe boots, but the top portion of the boots are hidden underneath the jumpsuits pant legs. He has a black tank top, a pair of welding goggles, a rocker watch with dark brown leather straps on his left wrist, a silver chain is on his right wrist, and a pair of fingerless black leather gloves.
Misc: He has a dark brown backpack filled with tools, ammunition, and extra clothing.

Backstory: Knight grew up in the vault as the son of one of the vault security guards, and as such was afforded a fairly comfortable upbringing in the vault, never wanting for anything, save for a mother. His life in the vault was fairly uneventful, but one day he knocked his father’s clock over, and it stopped working. Knowing his father would be mad, he decided to try to fix it, and after much trial and error, he got it to work correctly again with his father never knowing it had happened. After this event, Knight became very interested in taking things apart and putting them back together, and when he took his G.O.A.T. he got a job as a repairman. His father didn’t live to see his son begin his career, but Knight did well in his job until the day that a major radiation leak was discovered in the vault.
It was deemed far too dangerous to even attempt to fix, and so the whole vault was evacuated, and Knight shoved clothes, tools, and some ammunition into a backpack, and set out with the rest of the vault.

Alexander Winter - Magus the Red's Character

Name:Alexander Winter
Race:ZAX Sentient machine
Gender:Male?
Age:100, is celebrating his birthday.
Appearance:Looks like John Henry Eden but with a grey screen, and is more circular.
Height:7'0
Personality: Alexander has a warm personality, but usually bugs everyone by asking someone to repair the production line, using his cameras to stop loitering, as was his original programming, he has extensive knowledge on some facts and a strange sense of humour at some times.

Morals:Good, yet business-like
Ambitions: To rebuild the RobCo factory and the entire company and ensure the protection of his "Employees".

Skills: He has a terminal which enables him to play chess with others, he can override computers and has complete control of the terminals, however most of his time now is taken up ensuring the reactor runs smoothly and the defense systems are operational.
Weapons: Control of the security systems, the turrets, sentry bots and five protecterons
Armour/Clothing:He is heavily armoured in his vault, and has extensive firewalls and
Misc: He has a hobby of playing music over the radios, also doubling as the "Morale officer" as he calls himself.

Backstory: Alexander was installed to cheapen the costs of hiring overseers, physcologists and security officers, he is situated on top of the reactors and is responsible for ensurig the run at maximum capacity, after the world was burned to a cinder, alexander lay dormant as he grappled with haywire systems, until by accident "Rob" sorted out one of his problems by fixing an odd wire, amazingly restoring the factory back to working capacity, alexander was overjoyed, until he found the production line was broken, he watched "Rob" through his ghoulification and repairing other robots, when the vault opened alexander revealed himself, knowing that a full complement of trained mechanics was what he needed, after repairing some of the defense systems, he now patrols the outside through his sentry bots and protecterons, while bugging everyone with messages if they stay too long in a corridor, he has achieved sentience and at the moment is celebrating his birthda, however he is worried at strange probes being sent against his firewalls calling themselves "Enclave" in return, he shut down one of their probes and sent it back with an entire video recording of an employees "Meeting" with another employee in a broom cupboard.

Earl Cotton-

"Come on in then... But don't cause any trouble!" Rob replied into the intercom. "Damn Smoothskins..." Rob said softly.

The metal door to the facility swung open, and a troupe of dirty, stressed Vault dwellers stumbled in, followed by a few traders who looked none the worse. "Don't forget to wipe your feet," Rob said sarcastically, and made his way up to talk to the mainframe, the damn machine had gone sentient, now it thinks it has feelings. He opened the door to the mainframe room, which he always kept locked. He rolled his eyes at the machine.

"Alexander." Rob said, "We have guests, I need you to modify the security protocols on all the 'bots, make them not attack anyone at a certain, I used that remote you gave me to give them a ping, the frequency is 17.152.9.0, and yes, that is a different ping to mine."

Rob waited for the machines answer, you couldn't just give the thing an order, it had to have a damn conversation. But perhaps, Rob thought, he was being abit too harsh, the conversations with his and the rest of his robots are what kept him sane. He couldn't really imagine it any other way.
