So what happened to Ebonarm?

I've been reading several of the books from Daggerfall on the UESP, and there's quite a bit about Ebonarm in them. What happened to him? I haven't seen any mention of him at all in Oblivion or Skyrim (the only TES I've yet had a chance to play).

retcon

Ebonarm fell out of favor in the shared Cyrodiilic-Bretonese (particularly in the Nibenay and Daggerfall) pantheon, replaced by Talos worship and Shezzar not-worship).

That's just conjecture though.

Honestly, I don't know [censored] about Ebonarm.

I figured something like that. He seemed to resemble a mix between Trinimac and Talos. I think I like what they've done better.

From what little I know about him (I'm reading up on more), he is a war god like Talos (and Ysmir by extension, even if Ysmir is a Shezzarine) and Trinimac, so it fits.

The one book I just read would imply that Ebonarm is a god-ancestor of some kind. Perhaps Nordic? Even though worshiping god-ancestors is more of an elven thing.
