Just asking for everyone's preferred weapons for certain jobs. Currently trying out the Medicine Stick with Cowboy Perk and Handloaded ammunition and its pretty damn sick. My only major issue is that I am playing very hard at lvl 40+ and MAN is it hard to kill Robo Scorpions and NIghtstalkers in OWB. Idk if its my build thats biting or its just that these guys have WAY too much life and they are just being huge pains in the butt:


Overall Weapons I use:
Hold-out Weapon: Modded .45 pistol silenced
Sidearm: A Light Shining in Darkness vs Ranger Sequoia. Overall I prefer ALSID
Close-Range: Riot Shotgun - (And Stand Back + Shotgun Surgeon Perks) vs Dinner Bell. I feel like Riot shotguns benefit more from perks but really don't know which one i should stick to.
Mid-Range: Medicine Stick vs Paciencia.
Snipe-Range: Modded AMR GRA


Overall I'm currently still debating between sticking with the Medicine Stick or Paciencia.
Also thinking of possibly trying out the Bozar but I find the shape and handling of it incredibly strange.


What do you guys prefer? Also I'm considering trying out Energy Weapons on this character (considering he is now 100 Ew and I got some of the relevant perks).


P.S. I prefer if the discussion sticks to vanilla/dlc weapons only. Talking about the overpowered guns you find in some mods really isn't helpful.

Sidearm: ALSID-lightning fast RoF and reload speed and a good critical hit rate.
Mid-range: The Survivalist's rifle-Also has a very fast RoF and reload speed and it packs a punch
Long range: Fully modded AMR

The grunt perk boosts the effectiveness of ALSID and the SR and the hand loader perk makes all your guns more powerful.

Side/Hold-out: ALSID
Short Range: Multiplas Rifle
Long Range: Gauss Rifle
