How can I get better at the game? I play better than most randoms online, but worse than a lot of guys in a clan, at least the better clans that are mentioned here. I don't understand what they are doing to be so efficient with their movement and energy. I try watching matches on YouTube... but that doesn't work so well since most players are on PC and movement and kills differ on PC. The console matches I have seen haven't really shown me too much that I can't already do.

Here is a rundown of how I generally play:

-FY17 is my weapon of choice... with extended mags and laser sight

-suit modules are energy transfer, stealth enhance, and aim enhance

I have used other weapons, SCAR, feline, MK60, I just prefer the FY17 because it's more damaging, more accurate and more mobile than the SCAR (I believe - not 100% positive). The feline is OK, but not damaging enough and the clip is small and the rate of fire is high... so I'm lucky to get 2 kills per clip and I like something that feels like it has a little more "weight" behind it. The feline feels like I am wildly spraying with it at times. The MK60 is fine, especially with rapid fire, but I like to run constantly and I feel like I run faster with the FY17.

Normally, I don't lose too many gun on gun encounters. Sometimes I'm distracted or something or someone is bugging me or my head isn't in it or I get impatient and my aim suffers, but really it's not a problem... also lag hurts my aim at times, but again, it's not a real problem. I win 4/5 gun on gun encounters where I pop out of cloak into armor, kill the guy, then cloak again and take off running.

The encounters that cost me my life 9/10 times usually happen when I see a cloaked guy running toward me. Sometimes we brush past each other when I notice him, it appears he notices me at the same time and somehow I can never win the ensuing exchange. He will elbow me down. Every now and then I get lucky and manage to get enough bullets in him, but not usually. I don't know how to find him on screen as quickly as he seems to find me. I also have trouble meleeing in general. If I see someone that I want to just melee kill, he manages to turn around and kill me after I get one hit. A lot of the times, players that have been able to kill me this way are not particularly good players otherwise, so when I melee first and he kills me, it leads me to believe there's something I'm doing wrong rather than there's something he is doing right.

The obvious thing to do, in my opinion, is use cloak tracker to see and shoot the guys before it gets to the point of them being close enough to run circles around me and melee me to death. The problem I have had with this, is that initially cloak tracker is an absolutely useless module. Seeing where someone entered cloak helps me none at all. I need to level it up to see any benefit, and it also replaces stealth enhance, which is pretty much integral to how I play the game.

Also... how does one move like Noobified? I have seen him and a few S2K guys move in such a way that it's hard to target them even as they are killing another player. Whatever they are doing is not simply a matter of jumping (although I have seen a bunch of players Halo jump and kill you, and have done it myself every now and then - it's not a problem, I understand what they are doing and generally how to take care of it). I just wonder how to move in such a way myself... like they are running straight toward you but zigzagging.

The best I have ever done in TIA is 30-6, and I had to really have a good game against bad players to get that. lol Under normal circumstances, the best I can do is high teens to mid-twenties with deaths in the single digits, this is pretty consistent. Of course, I do have bad games or sessions where I go 7-14 or barely break even, but usually not.
