Logical conclusion: In TES VI, the major plot twist is that your character has been dead all along (or was resurrected somehow, or is undead, or is immortal), having been executed before the game began.

You are a Draugh or zombie in a tomb when a Mage casts a spell which brings you back to full health. Not going to happen.
