Basically, enchanting or alchemy? obviously.

A strong potion can exceed the most powerful of enchantments, giving you a great boost, albeit for a limited amount of time. For 60 seconds, in rare times 300, you are as strong as they come, felling usually insurmountable foes and taking blows that would kill a man of lesser stature.

An enchantment, once applied to a piece of your apparel, is a constant boost, always there. Giving you the comfort of not having to worry about running out. Always-on no need to re-apply. Through multiple enchantments you can boost your skills to unparalleled levels, becoming nigh-invincible if you so wish.

So which do you prefer?

Enchantment. Because I always forget to drink the potions.

In Skyrim, I have a good 20 or so Fortify Destruction potions I made from nightshade and glow 'shrooms. I forget to drink them every time I get into a prolonged firefight.

I am a potion drinker.
