Odd CTD without warning

What the title says. Right now I've a really odd CTD and that happens when I save before I try to lockpick the wodden gate in Addamasartus in front of the Argonian slaves.

If I save there and reload by the F9 key the game crash without warning, because I don't have the warning.txt in the game folder and all I can provide is my loadorder plus the ProgramFlow.txt file. :unsure:

I even tried to repair my gamesave in Wrye Mash without luck, so I've no idea what's wrong that could cause a CTD. :wallbash:

Uhm, did you try loading a save different from quicksave? Quicksaves are usually good for periodically cleaning game status (ideally when made using a 5 minutes MGE F5 macro), but better don't rely on quicksave for usual loading.

If you have a working previous (not quick) save, load it and try going to the in-game crash location and see what happens. If it still crashes it may be a mod problem, else it may be a corrupted quicksave problem.

Also I don't think this can be related to the crash, but abotRiverStridersTR.esp should be loaded after abotBoatsTR.esp

In my experience with savegames that crash on load, it has always been some kind of bad record in there causing the problem. And doing a binary search/bisection will find it. This is how I found the "delayed spell crash" that Hrnchamd fixed in the MCP. Personally, I'm convinced that quicksaves are no different from regular saves, other than they are created by a hotkey without having to type in a name.

If you want to try to fix that save by doing a bisection, the basic idea is to use Enchanted Editor (or tes3cmd) to delete records until the save loads, then add back in all but the last record you deleted. I'd be willing to eat my green felt hat if this does not work. It is however, a complicated and time-consuming process, so I understand how most would not find it appealing.

If you choose to use Enchanted Editor, you might still benefit from reading your quicksave as a text file, which can be done with tes3cmd:

tes3cmd dump quicksave.ess > quicksave.txt

I'd start with deleting the current CELL (Addamasartus, apparently) from the quicksave. If you can load the savegame after that, you should start over and try deleting objects from that cell in the quicksave.
