Divayth Fyr, who you may recall from our days at Gwylim, has the whole of the Inner Sea interested in the varied guises of PSJJJJ again. One of his cohorts, who signs only 'B', has pulled all manner of pamphlets to the fore in an effort to get at the heart of the matter. And, though they know it not, the Aurbis is trembling as they near themselves to truth. (Incidentally, I have petitioned the Murder House for a Dram simulacrum, sixth-measure, in case Fyr or 'B'-- a Borgite, perhaps?-- come too close to waking the Sleepers.)
So Xal knows about CHIM, is worried about Divayth Fyr teaching about the Endeavour, and is planning on having the Morag Tong kill Divayth or his Cohort 'B' if he gets too close to the truth. So, is this evidence of a Marukhati conspiracy? It would be awesome if there was. I think they could make very good villains. All the non-monster major villains for the last few games have been Elven extremists (Dagoth Ur wanted to purge the N'wah, Mankar Camoran's seeks to have Mehrunes destroy the world to free the Aurbis judging by the Commentaries, and the Thalmor, well, they are the Thalmor), and it would be refreshing to have a villain that is very human in philosophy.
