The True Independent Playthrough

Hey has anyone ever tried this idea before (or believe its even possible).
I want to try something I call the "True Independent" where I side don't side with anyone but retain neutrality or at least reasonable terms with both the NCR and the Legion (I have to screw over Mr. House though because there is no way to stay his side without pissing off everyone else.)

I am thinking of something along the lines of doing a crap ton of quests for the NCR (and kill a LOT of legion to store up Legion Ears) then entering the strip and picking up Ceasar's mark (doing a lot of quests for them while picking up a lot of NCR dogtags) and then accepting the NCR's offer of forgiveness and finish all the quests and turn in all of the dogtags/legion ears to appropriate places to have everybody at least like me :D

I never heard of anyone trying this but I "think" its possible?

Caesar will always mark you for assassination.

Best you can do is you CAN complete the game in such a way that allows you to either go to Moore or Yes Man at the very end.
