Third Person?

I think everyone agrees when they say that third person view is extremely awesome to find out how you look in your BA armor.

However, does anyone else feel that this can be improved upon enough to play in it without being totally turned off by how your character moves?

I was thinking even something as simple as having the upper body turn with your mouse and have the legs even attempt to look like they "catch up" would be a huge improvement.

I cannot stand seeing my whole body turn anymore.!!

See Mass Effect for good 3rd person. Working in an over-the-shoulder view for mages and archers would be great.

I played the majority of my game in 3rd person. I go into first person when using magic or looking for items. Yes they can greatly improve 3rd person with the two areas I said I go into 1st person for.

Oblivion was my first bethesda game and I play almost entirely in 3d person and only switch to 1st person to look for stuff but I love having the option to change views on the fly. I find in 1st person, I have no situational awareness and end up either cornering myself or running backwards off a cliff. The ability to switch views seemed so revolutionary to me, I thought it would change the whole gaming industry and put an end to "first person shooters" and "third person action" games. Four years later and it seems no one has jumped on the bandwagon? If there"s no 3d person in TESV I'm not sure i'll even get it.

I'm sure that third person could be improved upon. I would hate it if it was scrapped altogether, in fact, I likely wouldn't play it if it was first person only. Over the shoulder view, even though I can't stand it, is better suited for fallout and not TES.
