The Aldmeri Dominion... Not That Strong?

EDIT: Realistically, as in real-world terms, I don't see Bethesda destroying the Empire and replacing Tamriel's 'government' with the Aldmeri. I just don't think they would.

Of course not. The Dominion isn't going to win and neither is the Thalmor (in terms of their goals) because Bethesda is predictable that way (sadly).

Right. Because a prolonged war between the Empire and Skyrim following independence is good for resisting a foreign power?

"Man" does not do "best" when driven apart. They can do fine IF there is some sort of alliance made to resist the Thalmor. Which will involve 1. Hammerfell putting its issue with the Empire aside and 2. Skyrim and the Empire actually resolving their conflict and not continuing it.

Looks like the Thalmor might wanna do some research about Alessia, Remen and Tiber.

Care to enlighten me?

You claimed that man does better when driven apart. Now i'm not sure what your definition of "driven apart" is but if its Skyrim, Hammerfell, and the Empire squabbling amongst themselves while the Thalmor sits back and bides their time then thats an absolute terrible way to look at the political situation.
