I'm thinking of making a shotgun-oriented Courier, exploiting the sheer versatility of that particular weapon type and ammunition, and I've been wondering about how a build like that would fare in Dead Money.

Dead Money forces you into a weapons bottleneck, with only two types of guns and ammunition reliably available. You find a Caravan shotgun and some shells almost immediately, but there are no vendors selling 20 gauge, so the question is whether there would be enough of them to fight my way through the entire DLC, and whether a Caravan shotgun with And Stay Back would be viable against Ghost People.

Yup I found it. Just didn't have enough shells for it.

Apparently so. It would have been good to know earlier though. It would explain all the 20 gauge shells I kept finding.
