The Pitch

In the beginning . . .

In the beginning, all was well. In the beginning, there was no fighting. In the beginning, there was peace.

But one thing about peace . . . sooner or later it always plays out.

On October 23, 2077, the doors of Vault 18 closed, housing a pool of 180 people. They were given food, resources, supplies, and an Overseer who gave them structure according the the pre-determined regimen. They were all given a safe haven to live, and a person to call leader, but little did they know, the Vault would be known as the most brutal Vault the world had ever seen.

This is the never-ending story of the grisly chaos that ensued within the walls of Vault 18

Overview

So allegedly, this is about an old vault that was originally just named after the gods as a Vault-Tec experiment. The plans were never to create a fight for survival between the holds . . . or at least not like this. It was split into 9 sectors, each named after the major Greek gods and goddesses. Each section had their own use and purpose, but then when the old Overseer died, a new person had to take his place. A new tyrant.

Upon his arrival, the new overseer plunged the vault into a strict and fierce rule, partitioning less and less water between the holds. Soon bickering and quarreling about supplies rose, all the while resources allotted to each group were depleting. Before not too long the Overseer announced himself as the undefinable ruler of the Vault, and has since been known as Titan. He admired the beautiful chaos that he created, and wanted to make something of it, so thus began the Battle Pit.

One day he cut the supplies completely, and announced to all those who lived within the Vault that if they wanted supplies they would have to fight for it. "Earn your survival." as he put it. The reward for those who won would simply be the next months rations. And the loser was faced with a choice: either he would be condemned to the dungeons . . . or we was to leave the Vault and never return. Those who chose not to fight at all, didn't eat. Of course, people opposed this idea, as they naturally should, and those people were effectively and permanently dealt with. Now marks the week before the Trials. 7 days to prepare for the inevitable.

And nobody know's how long until the rations run out. Then, according to the coveted words of Titan, that's when the real fun begins.

How it Starts

Here I am undecided if I should have one CS per Deity, or just have small bunches in a select few, probably Zeus, Posiedon and Hades Anyone who is interested should give me ideas on how to make a happy medium between the two.

Oh, and here are some pics of what I plan to have as the Vault.

Hmm, a mix between the Hunger Games and Fallout it seems. I'm not sure the Greek gods part is necessary but that's just my opinion. I would post more but since your text is in white I had to switchfrom mobile to full version and that really dumbs down my phone.

How's about it? Do we have another vote that the Greek names aren't necessary? If so, then I'll nix them.
