Why don't the Bosmer use the Wild hunt on the Thalmor?.

Post » Sat Aug 11, 2012 11:02 am

I know it would cause utter destruction but it would be a serious blow to the thalmor if they performed the wild hunt
near where ever the Thalmor hq in valenwood currently is. Yes many bosmeri would die but i think it would be worth it.
They used a similar tactic on the Khajiit invaders in the book a dance in the fire and it defiantly sent the khajiit running.

Most Bosmer are treated as serfs I think, aside from the nobles. Don't they say something to that affect in Skyrim?

Wild Hunt?

Its when a group of bosmer transform into a horde of various monsters which kill everything in their path and when theres nothing left they eat each other.

Think so. I saw two Bosmer servants in the thalmor embassy malon and that bard but see was probably just for hire for the party.

They are not proud of it and I think i read that it is irreversable and all that do change then turn on each other in a cannabalistic rage. So I think it is like a sucide mission for those that partake.

I'm sure theres more than a few patriotic bosmer willing to make the sacrafice. I wouldn't be proud of being a bosmer being the Altmers B'''''ch

I didn't say that they are not proud of being Bosmer. They are not proud of the Wild Hunt. It is used only as a last resort thing. It has only been done 3 times in all of history.

Are the Bosmer being subjugated by the AD? Seems to me that they have no problem vanishing when they please.

I wasn't refering to that part of your post, i was just saying i think despite the bosmer not being proud of the wild hunt a few would sacrifice themselves.

I don't think they deem the current situation as dire, at least not enough to warrent the wild hunt

I agree Sithis, the situation does not require The Hunt. The Imperial Library ways that the Bosmer actually get all of their outside resources by pirating the AD ships. Is there an actual in game source that can verify this? I wonder how successful these raids are.

Plus, AD roads through Valenwood are static, easily avoidable. The Thalmor have their sites set on the Empire, ignoring Valenwood inhabitants. Out of site out of mind.
