Tamriel and more?

Post » Sun Aug 12, 2012 4:16 am

If you look at Tamriel you would see that it fits in with Europe and central Asia. Akavir fits in with Eastern Asia and Japan and all that.
My question is: Could there be more? Could there be continents that fits with Africa and the America's?? Or has that already been covered or answered? This may not sound creative but it would be fun to explore in future TES

There are three know continents that haven't been destroyed. Atmora, Tamriel, and Akavir. There is or used to be 3 more if you consider them continent. They were Aldmeris, Yokounda, and Pyandoea. I believe I misspelled the last two.

Pyandoea I believe is the home of the Sea Elves. The continent (Could be considered country) is south of Summerset Isles. I think the Sea Elves kept invading Summerset Isles, so the Altmer finally asked the Psijics for help. The Psijics used magic to create a storm and sink all of the invading ships. From that day on a mist formed around Pyandoea that no one can travel or see through. They were also supposedly lead by a king that as time went forward he become younger.

Payndoea isn't really a continent, its a series of islands and land shrouded in mist and is home to the Sea Elves. Traditionally, their Summerset Isles greatest rivals. Their still there, but the last time they attempted an invasion their fleet was destroyed in a storm accredited to the PSIJJICS.

Really, Tamriel doesn't fit Europe/Central Asia as well as you think. It's home to deserts, swamps, icelands, savannas ext. The only European esq land around is High Rock, and before Oblivion Cyrodiil was a rainforest/Jungle. Its completely unique from Europe and your not really going to get a 'this continent is this real world example' from TES.

edit: They didn't ask the PSIJJICS for help, everyone just assumes that a freak storm like that was their doing.
