I don't have any idea what I should search for in Nexus nor here so I was hoping that someone already knows what kind of mod it is that I'm interested in.
I was by a cliff and I noticed on the compass a fort location, when I looked at that direction, there was no fort, I walked closer and it kinda "popped up".
It was from a good 200-250 meter distance.
But it still looks silly.

So is there any mod that makes things like houses, ruins, forts, bridges and so forth load at a greater distance? (I already have my meters at max and it just ain't enough for me.)

Add the uGridsToLoad= value to Skyrim.ini in the [General] section and give it the value 7 or 9. Be aware that this might make your game very unstable and you can't revert to a lower value without a save before you changed it or without doing some dev-console wizardry.
