Which would blend in the best?

Hi all,

I'm going to use connary's textures in my next build which I'm currently planning and downloading atm but I was wondering which base texture replacer would complement his work the most, XT?

I'm going to use these:-

Connarys Great houses - 6th House
Connarys Great houses - Hlaalu
Connarys Great houses - Imperial
Connarys Great houses - Imperial Dragon Statue
Connarys Great houses - Redoran
Connarys Great houses - Redoran Scar
Connarys Great houses - Telvanni
Connarys Landscapes - Bitter Coast
Connarys Landscapes - Caves
Connarys Landscapes - Grazelands
Connarys Landscapes - Molag Amur
Connarys Landscapes - West Gash
Connarys miscellanea places - Daedric Shrines v.2
Connarys miscellanea places - Dunmer Stronghold
Connarys miscellanea places - Imperial Housing
Connarys miscellanea places - Lost Dwemer
Connarys miscellanea places - Sewers, the humid realm

So I'm really looking for which pack to install first to put all these on top of that will blend in the best:)

Thanks!

I suggest getting the rest of Connary's work. All of it's great.
But it really depends on your own eye, for what you feel is going to match with his work.

Alongside his work I use textures by the following modders:
Darknut - for armor, clothing and the animals that Connary didn't do.
Alaisiagae- for many miscellaneous things, like pillows, sails, ingredients.
Plangkye - I always use her Green Marble Mournhold and Hi-Res Telvanni textures.
Vurt - bark & leaves, lava, skies, etc
Two others I admire are Mr. Swiveller and AnOldFriend.
Korana - Rustic ravenwood textures
Qarl- bottles, misc items
Starwarsguy - tapestries, rugs
grvulture - beds

(all can be found on PES, except AoF and Korana are on TESNexus)

Hope that gives you some ideas.

Before I use single replacers i put as a base: 1. ultimate textures 2. Visual Pack.

After this I put Connarys textures in my game. And yes, Plangkye for telvanni and mournhold. darknut i use also his dwemer tex replacer. also very good is the uv correction for rocks from slartibartfast1, it's an esp but worth it. after this you have overwritten the simpliest textures with the best ones.

look out for one or two bloodmoon replacer as well :)

snip- ... also very good is the uv correction for rocks from slartibartfast1, it's an esp but worth it ... -snip-

'Corrected UV Rocks' is by Nich and only replaces meshes (no esp). I think what you're referring to is Slartibartfast1's 'Texture Fix v1.8' (which is an esm that fixes landscape seams). Slartibartfast1 also made 'Texture Fix - Bloodmoon v1.1' to correct landscape seams on Solstheim.

@Coolit
The landscape texture fixes and corrected rock meshes are highly recommended especially with high quality texture replacers like Connary's or other landscape retextures like those included with the base replacers mentioned by Sister.

I used Visual Packs, VP XT, and VP Nature as a base, then overwrote a lot of that with specific pieces of Connary's excellent work. I also added a bewildering variety of assorted stuff from other artists as well, which at this point I'm not even sure where some of it came from anymore. I used at least 3 or 4 of Darknut's armor and weapons retextures, but others came from different sources.

I'm still awed by Connary's Cliffracer retexture. It ALMOST makes the miserable creatures likeable; almost, but not quite, because I still kill them on sight. At least they look good now as they drop from the sky.
