The Moon and the Lily.
roleplay thread #1

The civil war has end, the imperials driven out of the north and Skyrim remains a land of independent kingdoms who barely talk to each other, the dream of a united land and under a single high king is a long forgotten fairytale. Few dragons still roam but most are driven out by different knightly orders of dragon hunters
Three years have pasted since the great showdown in the woods of Falcreath.
The wolf-pack barely holding together after the loss of several high influenced members now turns their attention towards the remaining wolfs for new leadership.
While on the other side of the past conflict is the old and tired Markus Liberty, only remaining member of the Order of the Lily, trying hard to establish a new chapel and guild of Dibella in the city of Solitude.

Welcome to the first thread in the second chapter of our roleplay, there are a few guidelines i would like to mention:
1. if you are going to say something outside of the roleplay then please do it by writing OOC before the comment
OOC = out of character.
But we still prefer that you write it in the sign up/OOC thread
2. this is a freestyle roleplay, that means we have no set storyline to follow, our characters do as they please, but we still need to avoid multiple separate storyline's going on in the same thread so we should always try and include each other in whatever our characters are doing.
3. Don’t be afraid of being hostile towards each others, conflict is always fun.
4. If you want one of the other members characters to do something specific towards your character, then take it up with them in the OOC thread or throughout PM's
I also recommend everyone check out the pined thread called “so you think you can roleplay” there’s a lot of good advised there on how to make an interesting character

**Rolf walked out of Jorrvaskr with a slight frown on his face. He looks quite different than a few years ago, his beard's gone, replaced by a long Fu Manchu mustache and his previous iron armor has been replaced with black jackboots and loose, comfortable cotton tunic and trousers. Instead of his iron sword and shield, he now carries a single wickedly sharp blade of Orcish make.**
What a strange contract... typically we don't deal with Vampires. I'll have to go all the way up to Solitude for this one, have to ask the damn Jarl personally for permission to explore that cave. Then again ever since I've joined the Circle I've gotten strange contracts.
**It seems like the memories of that battle in Falkreath are still fresh in his mind. It's been... three years but he still avoids the Hold if he can help it. After the battle he went straight to Whiterun to try again with the Companions. This time he had more luck, he reflected, grinning. The first time he was within of an inch of going blade to blade with an important member of the Circle. This time however he met with their Harbringer, Kodlak and he was accepted.**
What a nice old man, bless his heart. I feel sorry for him, I truly do it ain't right he has to live with that. It just ain't right...
**But soon he's at the Whiterun stab;es negotiating a price with the carriage driver.**
Rolf: 50 septims to Solitude you say?
Driver: That's right firend.
Rolf: Come on friend, it's a stones throw away, and I have no baggage, this is robbery.
Driver: 50 septims, end of story.
Rolf: 30
Driver: 40 septims and not one less.
Rolf: 35 it is.
Driver (grumbling): Fine, fine 35, now get in I haven't got all day.
**Rolf jumps in the carriage and begins whistling a tune as it leaves the stables and heads for Solitude. He doesn't like bargaining but hasn't much money**

Every freda's the citizens of solitude would see a grumpy old man leave the unfinished chapel, worn in his cloth, old rags they were, carrying a silver dagger that was always visible. Markus only left the chapel at freda's, the rest of the week was spend inside, praying, reading and sitting by the second floor window looking down at the fine citizens, thinking hateful thoughts. This friday afternoon he skipped the marked and went down to the docks, he did this during rare occasions, usually just to sit and watch the ship leave and enter the port. If he was lucky he’d see some exotic ship coming in from one of the southern nations, Argonian tradesmen had the strangest looking sails. This afternoon was apparently less exiting, a ship, obviously Bretic entered the fjord after its long journey from what Markus presumed was Daggerfall. The first to leave the boat was a group of knight's
*probably from one of them fine noble family’s he thought to himself “
*out on adventure because they can afford it”
this time he said it aloud, and the random fisherman standing next to Markus responded
*to a noble blood adventure is nothing more than a fine Inn at a hold capital, cant imagine them ever having used those fine swords”
Markus agreed silently and kept observing.

*DarJo entered the Ragged Flagoon*
"DarJo! Just the carpet rug I was looking for!" Shouted Brynjolf as he entered.
"Ah, Brynjolf, just the heavy set Nord I was looking for." DarJo shouted back.
"Alright lass, thats enough complimenting for now. I've got a job for you, you can't pass it up!"
DarJo sat down in a chair. "Go on"
"Theres a trading caravan, your kind. With lots of expensive items, they are heading to Falkreath. What you need to do, is try and join the caravan, and when they are not looking, steal all their goodies!"
"And how come I have to do this?"
"You're the only cat here" He said with a chuckle. "But seriusly, I've noticed this past year, you have been taking great interest into what happened between the wolves and water lilies"
"Werewolves and Order of the Lily" DarJo corrected him.
"Right, anyway. Didnt that war take place near Falkreath? If you really think something larger went on there that the public doesnt know about, this job will give you the chance to explore it!"
DarJo thought about it. "Alright"

DarJo walked to the surface, and through the market place. People were trying to sell things to him that he didn't need, and the Lizard made a racial remark to him. Hearing it, DarJo turned around, thrust his wrist out, and left the Argonian on the ground, in pain, with a spike of ice sticking out his shin.
He continued to his house, and went to his chest. He grabbed his Thieve's Guild armor, and his magically enchanted Hood. He left his house, and cast two spells. One to turn himself invisible, and the other to silence his footsteps. He didn't want anyone to follow him out the city, once he got out, he stole a horse from the Stables and headed to Falkreath
