The Elder Scrolls
The Second Great War
In this roleplay, the player will join one of the two main factions. They're a general in this faction and will lead an army across Tamriel to bring their faction to glory. They will first have to get their campaign approved by their ruling body, then decide their army, then set out to accomplish their goals.
Factions
Vanguard - An alliance of Hammerfell, Highrock, and Skyrim, but they also control northern Cyrodiil. There armies are made up of Redguards, Bretons, Nords, Imperials, Dunmer, and Orsimer. They are ruled by the Vanguard Council, leaders from Hammerfell, Highrock and Skyrim. and are based in Solitude. They are at war with the Dominion.
Aldmeri Dominion - Nation made up of Summerset Isles, Valenwood, and Elsweyr, but they also control much of southern Cyrodiil. There armies are made up of Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit. They are ruled by the Thalmor based in Alinor. They are at war with the Vanguard.
Argonia - Neutral state of Argonia and parts of eastern Cyrodiil and southern Morrowind. Their armies are presumably Argonian. The Hist rule them in Black Marsh. You cannot join this neutral faction.
Campaigning
Consulting and Strategy
Before you attack, you must report to your ruling body. You must state your campaign's goals in front of the ruling body. If you're approved you can then begin building your army. To be appreciated by the ruling bodies, you'll need to try and stick as close as possible with your campaign. This is a good time to privately message your allies and discuss a proper grand strategy. Campaigns can be long-term, like taking multiple cities, or short-term, like taking one city, or whatever. After completing a Campaign, you can report back to your ruling body to begin a new campaign.
Founding an Army
After your campaign is approved you can report to any friendly city and begin describing the makeup of your army. Who's in it, what weapons they have, there strengths and weaknesses, etc.
Moving an Army
Your army can move from one city to another city within one post, so long as that city is within proximity. Your army can also move anywhere within two cities to make camp in the wilderness. Moving city to city will keep troops rested and supplied. Never going to cities will cause your troops to fatigue and run out of supplies.
Attacking and Defending
If two armies are in proximity, they can engage one another. Field-battles are when two armies meet and neither is in a city. Sieges occur when one army attacks another army that's in a city. When you want to attack someone, announce it via OOC (here). The Attacker and Defender both PM me there Battleplans. I review these Battleplans and determine who had a better strategy and announce the winner via OOC. The winner gets to post about the battle, bu they have to follow the Battleplans and the events. For fun, you can also roleplay as someone that was in the battle.
Advanced Warfare
You can also coordinate attacks with allies. If your ally is attacking/defending, and your army is in proximity, then you can PM me your own Battleplans which will take effect mid-battle. When sending Battleplans, be sure to use advantages of your troops, access the enemy weaknesses, use the terrain, etc.
Rules
1. You're a General. You may temporarily roleplay as a solider though. You cannot roleplay as another General.
2. All armies are considered equal. Strategy and tactics must be used to win.
3. When you 'build your army', you have to stay true to that description in a battle.
4. 'Proximity' is indicated by the lines on the map.

I am not a good ma-maker, so forgive me for the map. I'll update it every now and then, cause it'd get tedious to do so after every battle. You armies can travel from one city to another city within one turn as long as those two cities are connected via a proximity line. Your army can also setup a camp anywhere between the cities, such as between Dawnstar and Whiterun. Here's a quick look at territories :
Hammerfell - Vanguard
Highrock - Vanguard
Skyrim - Vanguard
Summeset Isles - Dominion
Valenwood - Dominion
Elsweyr - Dominion
Black Marsh - Argonia
Morrowind - Argonia
Cyrodiil - (Chorrol, Bruma, Cheydinhal, Imperial City --> Vanguard) (Anvil, Kvatch, Skingrad, Bravil --> Dominion) (Leyawiin --> Argonia)
Characters
In your bios, include:
Name, Race, Gender, Armor, Weapons, Faction. You can add more if you want (and I suggest it).
Try to keep the factions balanced in terms of players please.
