So I have a serious problem when trying to run Morrowind. If i'm already in the middle of a game, I cannot load a saved game or start a new one without the game freezing up on me, forcing me to use the task manager to kill the program. Morrowind will also randomly ctd after 10-15 minutes of gameplay.

I've tried playing morrowind with and without mods. The morrowind code patch didn't do anything to help. I've also tried installing morrowind to Program Files, or directly to my C:\, both which have the same problems. I've also tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP, service pack 2, but I still get the same problems.

The thing is, I've ran morrowind on this computer before, and it ran smoothly without any major problems. The only thing I'm not sure of, is if I still had windows vista 32 installed at the time. I'm not sure if that should make a difference.

Anyone have any idea of what could be going on?

BTW, I can run any other game fine, games both older and newer the morrowind, including Skyrim.
