Hello everyone. I'm an old Morrowind player and been known by various names on this forum. I played Morrowind from 2003 to 2010, and been away for awhile. I left to catch up on some other games such as Oblivion, Skyrim, Mass Effect series, Dragon Age Series, Fallout3 and New Vegas. Though none except for New Vegas can hold my interest long enough. Although I do mod for Skyrim, that is the only enjoyment I get out of it. Lately I've been hanging out in the lore forums answering questions; and have begun to feel the pull back to Vvardenfell.

I have a couple of questions:

Is the modding scene still active? If so what are the new hot mods?

Are modders Westly, Plangyke, Fliggerty, Emma, Kateri, Yacoby, Jac, Midgetalien and Antares still active?

What happened to PES? Alot of classic mods have broken links, such as Vampire Embrace, Illuminated Order, Divine Domina, Suran Underworld, Dracus Durzog Armor, Death's Doorstep and Reign of Fire.

Can anyone upload the last five?

I found Vampire Embrace on a German site and Illuminated Order in a thread on this board.

Also can anyone upload the compatibility patch for Great House Dagoth and Darknut's Greater Dwemer Ruins?

Plangyke returned just a couple of weeks ago, I believe.

Tamriel Rebuilt released their third incarnation as "Sacred East". Morrowind Comes Alive v7. Abot's sailing mod. MGEXE still going strong where MGE faltered.

PES was hugely affected by Fileplanet closing down (for real and not just the same dumb rumour that went round), and their mirror system has trouble routing some of the mods they still have. It's really a shadow of what it was as the Oblivion PES and Morrowind Summit.

To answer 4/5/7, mw.modhistory.com is your new best friend, replacing most of ElricM, UFrealms, Morrowind Files, Psychodog, TES Files, TES Source, Silgrad, EuroMW and all the other great sites that are no longer with us; though only v2.5 of Suran Underworld has been uploaded. Most of the modders you mention are still around, although things have slowed down in the last year. But I'm sure you know how activity comes and goes... it's currently a slow phase with some of the "big names" not active. Some people are now modding Skyrim, but we know they'll be back
Yacoby might be gone... his site is gone and he's never here.
I'm making it sound like nothing is going on, but there is still a lot of great looking WIPs around, and big projects are being still being released.

PES has been going through problems, but all the dead links are currently being repaired. It's just going to take some time.
As Brakes mentioned, http://mw.modhistory.com/ (or the MW Nexus) is a great place to look for something that's broke on PES.
