I feel rather skeptical since we know that Fallout 4 has been in development for so long and was even rumored to be in early development alongside Skyrim so why would they begin scouting locations only now. Unless they are adding more locals to their Boston Landscape.

Exactly. It's all guesswork and the guesses stem from the mention of The Commonwealth in FO3.

Yeah, I've seen a "real" You Tube post about Fallout 4 being set in a cabin somewhere in the woods with 1960's music playing. Its all BS until Bethesda releases a press release.
