Recently I was going through my mod list and was wondering which mod that rebuilds Kvatch I should use. The main 3 that I can think of are Kvatch Rebuilt, Kvatch Aftermath, and Kvatch Rising, the latter two created by giskard. From what I know, Rising has more features than Aftermath overall, and is more lore friendly compared to Aftermath. I don't know much about Rebuilt, however, so I was wondering if it was superior to the other two in any real way. Also, what are the key differences between the Rising and Rebuilt (at this point, I'm only really considering Rising and Rebuilt)? Also, I was wondering if Rising had any support/additional features with giskard's other mods, since I also have some of his other mods currenty installed.

I have used both Rebuilt and Rising. I prefer Rebuilt during its reconstruction phase, since we get to actively participate. With Rising there are indeed a number of construction phases, but we are not directly involved with them. Once rebuilt the situation reverses. I far prefer Rising's concept of a rebuilt Kvatch. It's a far more interesting place, in my opinion. Since I tend to have lengthy plays-through that last long after the Crisis ends, Rising gets my nod. (Note that Rebuilt has had an update since I last played it.)

I have not noticed any direct links between Rising and the author's other mods, which surprised me. Then again, the only other major mod of his I run is The Elder Council. Rising might well tie in with some of the others.

This might all be beside the point. Last time a checked (maybe a month ago???) Rising had been withdrawn from public access.

I use Rebuilt, although I've run into some problems with one of the quests that are blocking my progress. It's a good mod, but I think it could have been a lot more. Lots of dungeon-diving, if you're into that sort of thing.

On the topic of Rising: I saw it on Giskard's website when downloading The Elder Council - I don't know whether the download link is there/working, but it's listed on his site. From what I've read and seen on YouTube, there are some links between TEC and Kvatch Rising.

I've heard that Rising is better, though I haven't personally compared the two. I am using Rebuilt right now though because of several of my mods have compatibility patches for it, so it integrates into my setup better.

As for rising not being available, Griskard recently did a flurry of updates on all his mods, so a new version of Rising is available there.
