Hi I am new to elder scrolls universe skyrim was my first game i bought it when it came out feel in love with the game i think had spend more that 1000 hours on it and know i really would like to experience some other elder scrolls games. I had heard many good things about Oblivion many people had liked it even more than skyrim so i had decided to buy Oblivian game of the year addition and with that i have couple question regarding the game to my senior oblivian players.
My first question is, it said on a games description that game comes with dlcs Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles but nothing about smaller game add ons that was released dose that mean i have to buy the smaller add ons separately on xbox live?
And my second question is i had see somewhere that is actually includes couple disc( i guess add ons are separate discs) dose that mean they are not incorporated in a main games map ? never had game with couple discs on xbox so not sure how it would work

Please help rookie with some info

Correct. GotY edition contains Knights of the Nine (KotN) and Shivering Isles (SI), but not Rosethorn or Horse Armor or any of the other DLCs. Consider yourself lucky you've got an Xbox. These other DLCs are not available on PS3.


I don't have GotY edition on Xbox yet, I'm getting it this weekend though. My guess is one disc contains the regular game Oblivion + Knights of the Nine. The other disc contains Shivering Isles. SI takes place in a completely different province than Oblivion & KotN.
