Weapon Racks?

How could http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/9592-1-1256624998.JPG be done? What kind of objects work in the GECK?

It's not exactly for some 'awesome' armoury, it's for a small mod that adds player refuge, basicly, and presentation is key.

no offense man, if i had the answer i could give you a definitive answer and be all helpful like, but why not actually research how Bethesda did it themselves in the geck?

its what i plan on doing.

(i think you could reference knights of the nine too, if you have access to it)

if i had to guess those are static activators that when activated will place the appropriate gear in your inventory....if im remembering correctly how that section worked

The real issue is I'm not sure bethesda ever did something like that in-game, well maybe in Mick and Ralph's... but I think that was just placing clutter.

But my money would be on static activators, it seems the most elegant solution to the problem.

I put weapons on the wall in one of Phalanx' cells and, they are the 1st person static objects simply stuck there.

If they are intended for more than display, ie: the player needs to activate them and take them down for his personal use, you're clearly getting into activator territory. I did not make mine able to be taken down so, I can't point you to a script for it.

Actually. If you have fallout 3, and happen to have the fallout 3 DLC named The Pitt, it seems possible that the "steel ingots" could serve as an example for you. Check the script and nature of them.

The way they're done in the mod the screenshot in the first post is from is by Enabling/Disabling first-person statics that've been placed all over the cell depending upon the contents of a container's inventory.
