Need tips for locations to place new gangs at.

I have two new gangs I've designed for my mod but I need a place to put them. ( http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/42840 )

One of them are called Krazies, they are ghouls that wear patient gowns from Big Empty as to indicate they fled from there somehow.
Now I need a good place for them to shack, they use pretty decent weapons so I don't want them to appear too early.

The other one is called Lost Men, they wear US Army combat armor and general outfit.
They are old men and wield damn good weapons.

Anyone know a good location in the Mojave that I could place these two groups?
I want them to make sense for the aestethics of the area, so the Army guys would make sense near some bunker or something (not Hidden Valley though, I've done stuff there already).
And the Krazies should hole up somewhere, preferrably a cave that isn't used, so no to Bloodscorn cave and the cave with Deathclaws.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Maybe Searchlight Airport for the Lost Men? There are military planes there, and nothing of importance in the unmodded game, only a few radscrospions.

As for the Krazies, there is the nearby Nuclear Test Site that has ghouls around it, and is near the souhern border of the map. Or perhaps http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Coyote_Mines near Camp Searchlight? That one is in area that has ghouls, and has only a prospector or two in it.

Already have plans for Searchlight, gonna turn it into a Guardian base.
As to Coyote Mine, it could work if it's the mine I think it is.
