Okay, so we don't know what choices from Fallout 3 or New Vegas are canon yet, but which ones do you think should be canon and why?
This means of course that the choices should show up or at the very least be mentioned in the next game, whether it's set in Arizona, Boston or California doesn't matter.

Example;
Choice: I think that Legion should lose the battle of Hoover Dam but Lanius is allowed to go back to his lands.
Why: I think it's the best choice for the Legion as it will force Legion to change, Lanius will go back to his lands with clarity, he will look over his lands and change it to a real nation and strengthen it. Some of the Legion won't like the change though, those who are too hellbent on warfare as that's all they know, and will split from Caesar's Legion and form their own faction. I think it's the best choice becuase it will force Legion to change, it will reduce their borders somewhat and other factions are born out of it.

There are tons of other choices that can show up without Fallout 4 or Fallout: ____ being set in Mojave/Capital.
For example, Jacobstown finds a cure, in Fallout: _____ we see Nightkin that aren't mentally ill anymore.
There Stands The Grass, in Fallout: California we see a lot more Vault 22 creatures in the wasteland.
Ashur lives, Wherner dies, in Fallout 4 we hear about how The Pitt is becoming an even more prominent city on the eastern coast.
Desmond survives, he shows up in Fallout 4 with a new target.

What choices do you think would be best for canon and why?

House wins in the Mojave. NCR surrenders so they don't lose that many people. Lanius and Caesar die.

If this happens I believe the NCR would march into Legion land to try and neutralize them. Then the Legion would have to make serious changes to fend off the NCR. And that is what the game would be about saving the Legion or letting them die.

I'd like to see Veronica joining the followers become canon, with her bos knowledge I could see her becoming head of the followers and bringing a slightly harder edge to them, giving them the know-how to defend themselves yet bring help to the wasteland

Id like to see a save import in FO4 like Mass Effect so none of them have to be canon for everyone.

Well, the possibilities are so huge that its not really practical. Its nice in theory, but it just wouldnt work.
