right guys.

Bought fallout 3 on steam today.

Not getting past the loading screen after pressing new game. Yes, I know this is a huge [censored] problem, but I can play new Vegas on medium no bother so can someone shed some light?

To clarify, I am NOT running this on a laptop, Im running it on a desktop with a nVIDIA GTX 550 Ti Asus edition.

Heres my specs.

Intel Celeron 420 @1.6GHz

NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti asus edition (25% overclock)

Windows Vista SP2 32 - Bit

4GB DDR2 Ram

DX 11.

if you need more specifics, ask and il tell.

thanks guys.

Sorry, but the Celeron series of CPUs is well below the requirement:

What are the Fallout New Vegas system requirements?

Minimum System Requirements (VGAs corrected for Obsidian stupidity):

* Windows XP/Vista/Win7
* 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
* 2.0 Ghz Dual Core processor (C2D / AMD X2)
* Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM
(NVIDIA 6800 "GS" or better/ ATI X1300XT or better)
{Added my note here, the X1600 Pro & up really, and
avoid both the Geforce 6800 SE, and the 6800 XT}
* 10 GBs of free hard drive space
