Mystery at Harlun Watch problem

Post » Thu Feb 25, 2010 4:01 pm

I'm having a problem with the Fighters Guild quest Mystery at Harlun Watch. I'd previously cleared out the Swampy Cave before I started the quest, and they hadn't respawned when I started the quest. The quest marker led me to the southernmost chamber in the cave, and there's a pile of skeletons and a few dead zombies but nothing that sets off my quest progress. I understand that there should be some kind of body with a journal that should update my quest log. I just want to know if there's a way to force the body to appear or another way to bypass this quest so I can proceed with my game.
I'm running OOO if that is a known conflicting mod for this quest, although I don't know that it would be considering what a well done mod it has proven to be.

Thanks in advance

I had this problem on 360. It was fixed in the GOTY, quest line failure if not the GOTY disc. Isn't there an unofficial patch for PC that brings it all up to date, in terms of fixes that are found in the GOTY?

Quickest way around it is using the console;

SetStage FGC10Swamp 40

But yeah, make sure your game is patched to latest version.

Thanks guys, I'll have to try that when I get home.
Where is the patch available from? I'm guessing not the main website since it's unofficial?
