It was in the sixth grade my friend was talking about oblivion and how it was really fun and i thought it sounded really cool so i went over another friends house and saw the game. He said he never played it cause it was his older brothers. So we put it in and started playing i thought it was so cool because i had never played a game where you make your own character. (or any RPG to begin with) I ended up buying the GOTY oblivion a week later for the xbox 360. I thought it was the greatest game ever and it gave me this feeling that i cant explain how it felt. (im sure all of you know this feeling the first time playing Oblivion or any TES game) I played oblivion for a year not knowing about lore or the past games in TES series. I then bought Morrowind for the xbox and hated it. I couldn't get into the game it lagged on my xbox and i thought the fighting was terrible. So my game i always went back to was oblivion. After another few months of playing oblivion on xbox I found out that to get the most out of your elder scrolls game you needed to play on pc. It has now been a year and a half since when i first bought oblivion for Xbox and i got the game for pc on christmas. (I was still not interested in lore or roleplaying at this point so all i wanted to do was get cheating mods and use console commands) But my pc couldn't run it except for lowest settings and i still got a little lag on that. so once again i just went back to oblivion on xbox. I decided to give Morrowind another chance and actually started to like it. One day for some reason Morrowind wasn't working on my xbox so i went out and bought it GOTY for pc because i knew i could run it ok on my pc. This was the best move i ever did. I loved playing morrowind on pc i played this for half a year before i found out that Skyrim was coming out. The 6 months wait untill skyrim i played morrowind on pc with no mods because i loved it vanilla so much i didn't need any. It was An hour before skyrim came out my friends and I were getting ready to drive to Best Buy to pick it up at midnight. while there i saw people buying it for pc and was upset that my pc couldn't run it.(now a little over 2 years since i first bought oblivion) i playd skyrim for a few months before i started getting into lore. I was reading the lore page on the unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages every night. Then i started watching Veriax's oblivion Let's play on you tube(if you dont know who veriax is search him up on you tube he is really awesome) I loved the way he roleplayed and it made me need to a pc and ever since then ive been saving for a gaming pc.
Now i roleplay when i play and know a lot about lore and love TES so much more. So tell your Elder Scrolls Journey how did you start playing the games
